Meet Alex

Gene Keys Guide & Pranayama Instructor

For seven years, I worked as an IT Officer on cruise ships — living at sea, moving constantly, and operating in a world built on systems, structure, and precision. It was a life that kept me engaged and focused, but over time, something quieter began to surface — a sense that there was more beneath the surface of how I was living and experiencing life.

Around four years ago, at the age of 33, that feeling became clear through a powerful, heart-opening experience that shifted my direction inward. I stepped away from that life and began exploring what was actually happening within me — not intellectually, but through direct experience. That’s when I came into contact with the Gene Keys. What started as curiosity became a steady practice of contemplation, observing patterns as they appeared and learning to stay with them without needing to immediately change or escape them.

Breathwork entered my life in a very natural way during this time. Through Pranayama, I started to understand how the breath can influence the body directly — supporting a different kind of awareness and allowing the body to open at its own pace. It wasn't about pushing or achieving something, but about a quieter, more receptive way of being. This combination — contemplation and breath — changed how I relate to myself and to everyday life.

Over time, I began to notice that this process was not only about understanding patterns, but about how those patterns live and move within the body.

This is something my Gene Keys profile reflects — a movement from reaction to awareness, from tension to stability, from fragmentation to coherence. These are not ideas I apply, but something I’ve experienced directly.

What I’ve come to understand is that awareness needs a place to land. Without the body, insight remains incomplete. This is where breath becomes essential — not as a technique to control, but as a way to create space, release tension, and allow what is present to be felt more fully.

By bringing contemplation and breath together, a different kind of change becomes possible. Patterns are not forced to shift, but begin to soften and reorganize naturally. This is how I work — holding a space where what is seen can be felt, and what is felt can begin to transform.

As a Gene Keys Guide and Pranayama Instructor, my deepest intention is to bring these two pathways together — so that every session becomes a space where insight and breath can meet, and where understanding has a chance to be truly felt.

How I Work

Sessions

1 — Opening

We begin by taking a moment to arrive. A short settling practice to bring awareness into the body and create a grounded, present space before anything else begins.

2 — Sharing & Reflection

This is the heart of the Gene Keys portion. You’re invited to share what is present — insights, challenges, patterns, or questions arising from your own journey. This part is conversational.

3 — Pranayama Practice

From the space created in sharing, we move into a guided pranayama practice. Each month’s practice is chosen to support the sphere being explored — so the breath and the Gene Keys work together rather than separately.

4 — Integration & Closing

We close with a short space for reflection — allowing what has moved to settle. No rushing toward conclusions. Just a gentle return before the session ends.

If this feels aligned, I’d be glad to connect.
